Isn't someone going to complain about non-revs in the Premium cabin?

Well at least he was in E-, although don't know how he travels on the company dime somewhere or internationally. Wasn't Richard Anderson's seat of choice in the exit row?

I don't really get the whole thing about an airline CEO riding in coach. It does not impress me as a customer or make me think that this makes them a great leader or anything like that. If I had a job that came with the possible perk of never flying in coach again for the rest of my life, I would never be seen in coach again for the rest of my life

At least he's freeing up a seat for someone else to upgrade to.

Supposedly, this is actually the reason he sits in Y.

It is so he can claim "I feel your pain."

It's a shame this was on an MD aircraft. It would have been better had he been forced to sit through his intro to the safety video.

Or he could have stood up and given it in person apodo77 probably would have mentioned that if it had happened though

F had been sold out on this flight for about a week.
PBI is a hard upgrade to get.

Even have a stalker picture or two for those that doubt me.

He could have booked the flight long before that and just not booked positive space in F (as I am certain he is entitled to do).

It's probably more internal Delta employee PR oriented than externally oriented.

I know someone who is a high level DL exec and he and his entire immediate family only fly F/D1.

The CEO gets a different level of attention from the grunts in these types of matters. Mere "high-level" execs don't get any scrutiny.
