DL360 really doesn't do much besides a few gifts, and in theory better IRROPS handling right? It certainly seems to pale in comparison to CK and GS.

So having fewer 360s would be good for DMs.

Actually places flyer in higher spot for the upgrade queue, in front of all other DMs. At least it used to.

This may be true, but are 360s really buying coach and waiting around for the upgrade? Cause they're not climbing up the ladder that quickly on X fares.

There could be folks who fly international longhaul business class on OPM but buy coach for personal travel.

I just received my 2018 Delta 360 notification via email. Guess I'll ride it out one more year.

Me, too! Told my wife not to expect it next year, though - I can't keep up this pace for much longer.
Exactly! I may be divorced if my travel doesn't slack up in 2018. |

I'm not that high up the food chain, but a family member is. He was called by Delta last week and informed he was being dropped from Delta 360 despite flying even more in 2017 than in 2016. He asked for a reevaluation twice and was told they changed the requirements and he no longer met them. He was over 550K MQM and right around $60K MQD. If that doesn't do it, I don't know what does.
I know DL is trying to make the top tiers more exclusive and I respect it, but seems odd to just drop someone who flew more the following year. Though realistically, Delta 360 doesn't mean much more than Diamond does except for the gift. The Tiffany glasses and bottle of scotch was lovely. ... Flying more in 2017 than 2016 ... Achieving 550K MQM in 2017 ... Earning the 550K MQM in 2017 This would imply that he only achieved 125K MQM in 2016 so that there would be no rollover and thus being able to "earn" the 550K in 2017 Or, was there really a large rollover which would make more sense given the $60K MQDs for 2017 |
Yep - got mine today. CLE based, put up 317k MQM and $97k MQD in 2017.
