I wondered that on the "break even" too, but didn't ask because I kind of got to the "if I am already on the plane train what is the difference between 3 stops and 5", if you were walking I would venture to guess it matters more

I made the trek last month. I watched the videos and if you are not retrieving checked baggage you definitely want to use the escalator on the Delta (south) side. The signage is good, but it was a bit of a hike. Definitely the longest baggage-claim-to-Uber hike I have ever seen. Still, it does get you away from the terminal congestion.
Never though of going to F. Might give that a try. A question for those who have used F: Is there a "break-even" terminal? i.e., Surely F is the right choice if one arrives on F, E and D. But f I come in on at A is F still the right choice? Or is F always the right choice (even for T)? |
Thank you all for the feedback and responses. You'll find me heading to F tomorrow to get my uber!!!!!!

I live in Atlanta and take Uber/Lyft quite frequently.
After coming up the escalator from the train; walk to get your luggage or continue through the luggage area and go down the escalator next to the Georgia Lottery booth. At the bottom of the escalator walk down the hallway to the right, you will go through some doors and end up outside in a covered area that is regular pick ups. Walk across the driveway and into the garage, from there follow the Uber/Lyft signs. It will be maybe 200 yards or so to the pickup point. |
You must take big steps *smile* ATL website says 500!

And of course I'm coming into B30 something. If someone would just send the Porsche that would be great *smile*

Go to F and get your Uber there. No question about it - it is exponentially easier at the intl terminal if you have no need to go to domestic baggage claim.

Uber into Int’l Terminal
We will be staying overnight at the Holiday Inn Airport North property and flying to Aruba the following morning. Is it possible to take an Uber directly from the hotel to the Int’l Terminal?

The pick-up on the domestic side is ridiculous. Personal vehicles pick you up at the terminal itself. Taxis are also right there as well. Uber/Lyft on the other hand, are sent ways away as others have already pointed out. |

Drop off is not a problem and you can certainly ask your Uber driver to drop you off at the international terminal. The pick-up on the domestic side is ridiculous. Uber Select can pick up at the terminal as well. 4/5 times you will end up getting an UberBlack anyways.
