AA has added south Florida cities so I expect Delta may soon as well.

They seem to be waiting until all the seats before the storm are sold out. Wonder if the folks in charge of this are related to that Shkreli dude...

Florida Airports added to the waiver (among other updates). Wiki updated.

I'm with you.
Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties have all canceled school for Thursday and Friday.
Seems most think we are in the bullseye.

Good thing they're SM tickets, but will be bummed if I can't make a visit to Maho Bay!

By mid-october the hurricane season slows down a bit.

Key West has announced an outright airport closure starting Wednesday evening.

What does the collective think my chances getting out of Orlando Saturday 9am flight? To Chicago via United if it matters. Booked the hyatt Friday night so I won't have to time it right if roads get clogged. Just go down stairs and get on plane. Family vacation to Niagra Falls and baseball in Toronto. Will be bummed if it all falls through plus still on hook for first night of hotels in Canada if I go or not.

Looking at the daily schedule that plane comes in the night before from Chicago, parks for the night, and is the 9am flight out. i guess it will be telling if it is a no show Friday night. If it shows up I am sure they will not want to leave it there.

Hopefull.

Last projection had the eye still in the straights of FL sunday at 2pm

It should be okay. When Mathew was approaching last year, MCO didn't close until 8pm the night before the storm hit and the latest projections for Irma don't have it in the MCO area until Sunday night.

I come back on Tuesday evening DL Buf > Dtw> Mco but don't care to much if I have to stay on vacation a couple more days.

Delta seems to be engaging in some price gouging for people trying to get flights out of South Florida in the next day or two. Flights to NYC nearly tripled in price from FLL round trip, but the one way price is 99% of the round trip fare.

I went back and forth with Delta all night last night trying to get the change fee for my flight TO FLL today waived because of the storm and not wanting to get stuck here, but they refused and now I'm here and there is a travel waiver for FLL and today AND they're gouging prices out.

Not a good look. Will try Friday but that might be cutting it close.

I have a flight Saturday at 11am for BOS then onto CDG, I really hope we can get out of MCO!
