My suggestion for the OP is that you send DL a letter complementing them on handling the situation in such a great way and for going above and beyond to make sure all passengers were comfortable.

Did you see the recent report of that plane that was diverted to Ireland and the PAX had to spend the night on matts on the airport floor?

I agree, it sounds like DL did a great job on this one. ^

The flight I was referring to was the United flight--did DL also have a diversion to Ireland recently?
