Yep... as a former very frequent PBI-ATL DL 757 traveler I can guarantee you that this (the unbelievably frequent equipment changes) drove me crazy. If you don't watch your seat assignments closely you WILL be sorry.

Is there any other airline in the world that has so many different configurations for one aircraft type? It is almost absurd.

Not that I know of.

Thank y'all for your answers. Before I read the answers I checked again on the website to see if any seats had opened up. The flight times had changed by 5 minutes so I guess that's why the seats changed. I'll hold what I have and hopefully the seats will be normal again tomorrow.

I really do appreciate all of the wisdom everyone shares on here.

WOW! Such flattery!

:D

Do let us know how the seat maps look maņana.

:)

I am proud to report y'all were right! The seat map just opened back up and I was actually able to snag seats 20A and 20B on my flight from ATL to STT and the reverse^.

I'm still going to check once a day, but I will now know that Saturday is not the day to look. If I was flying with another adult it wouldn't be so bad, but I'll be with my 15yo son and I'd prefer him in a seat next to me. He'd probably be fine and sleep the entire time, but I'd worry.

And yes, there is a TON of wisdom passed around this forum:D
