I bet the All Blacks could take them both at 1 time!

At times like these, I am glad to live near Philadelphia. This has somehow relieved me of any temptation to get all wrapped up in allegiance/loyalty to a sports team.

Being from the Detroit area, I know exactly what you mean, especially when it comes to football. We are the only team to have ever gone 0-16, so we have that !

New Zealand Rugby ? I hope that's what your referring too.

Inflate the football a bit extra and you end up with a Rugby ball.

Or inflate it a little less and you will end up with a New England Patroit's football. :D:D:D

Growing up near Detroit inoculated me from having much enthusiasm for pro football. The alternative where I lived in Ohio was the Cleveland Browns.

The OP is too easily offended.

I wasn't so much referring to team record as fan records.

It's hard to generate much enthusiasm when you have fans that throw snowballs at Santa on the field and where the city has to bring a municipal court judge into the basement of the stadium on game day to expedite prosecution of miscreant fans.

Plus, not obsessing about pro sports frees up more time for FT. :D

BTW... unlike some, I recognize your post as tongue-in-cheek. At least, I hope so. ;)

Let's just say I really do dislike the Seahags, but this isn't going to make my decision to fly with another airline.

I went to a wedding this summer in Seattle and there were a ton of ads in the airport stating that DL was the official airline of the 'Hags and then there was ads with Russell Wilson as the CFO (Chief Football Officer).

Not sure there has ever been a superbowl where 90% of America wants BOTH teams to lose

If the the worst thing DL does this year is congratulate the Seahawks for winning a trip to the Super Bowl they're doing just fine. It seems to me that in this overly PC-world (and I'm a flaming liberal) people just need to sit their a@@es down, have a cocktail or pop a xanax and just relax. It's a game not a nuclear arms race and I say that as a fan of one of the teams that lost in the playoffs.

GO STEELERS!!!

I felt that way last year.

So does DL send the plane with deflated tires to PVD and the juiced up plane to SEA?

Yep, you're right, that is offensive.

I think most would argue that pulling for the Seahawks shows a defensive tilt.
