The first flights I took after being admitted into the test program were through BUR-SLC-IAH and return.

On both flights through SLC I was met at the airplane door by a "360" agent who escorted me to the next flight and allowed me to board just after the crew, 20 minutes before anyone else. A couple weeks later LAX-SYD, when I got to the gate there was a representative holding a sign with my name on it. When I approached they allowed me to board early, a good while before anyone else.

Since then, nothing. Had a tight international connection in JFK last week. A ride from the plane to immigration would have been nice, it's got to be a mile walk, or even a ride from immigration back out to the Delta gates, which is another mile walk would have been appreciated as well.

I think the intent of 360 was there, but it has since died. Maybe they did it to build an initial buzz and the plan was to pull it back, I don't know. There may be some behind the scenes stuff, protecting you on flights or something, but I haven't had that experience yet to know if it's a benefit.

Kind of like the SC new amenities and improvements? ;)

We haven't been hearing many reports of people invited into the 360 program after the initial test group. This is even as the Porsche program has been expanded to more airports. I wonder whether plans to ramp it up have been slowed down.

My guess is they figured they didn't really 'need' to do this program since none of the other airlines are making any serious effort to court high $$ flyers. Also those programs are suffering from either current merger issues or 'postpartum' merger issues. If you remember, it's not about the customer, it's about the bottom line with DL, you will be a lot happier with your travel experience.

Just curious...

If those invited don't mind sharing, I'd love to know their rough annual spend.

I'm guessing my $30k is a pittance to Delta.

My spend last year was in the mid to high 80K range if I remember correctly.

I do have fancy 360 DM tags, so there's that.
