No you cannot fly singapore airlines metal on SkyMiles redemption using VA codeshare. But you can do SIN-DPS on KLM and DPS-SYD on VA metal.

Added: you can do SIN-ICN-SYD on KE but you would waste a lot of time in ICN connecting between the two.

Also, DL imposes many blackout dates for award tickets on KE.

As I mentioned those are two flights on two airlines, but they can be combined into one itinerary when redeeming SkyMiles. Please check Delta website to find the redemption tables (you would need one from Asia). Multiply the quoted one-way rates X 2. Since you would not be flying on Delta, you would be redeeming in low (not medium, nor high).

As I mentioned you can fly KE via ICN, but it's not the only option. You can, for example, fly via SGN or HAN on VN, or use one of the Chinese carriers from SkyTeam.

To fly SIn-DPS is within asia, so that is 35000 x 2 =70000

Then from DPS to sydney is another 60000 x2 = 120000

Does this mean, i have to add both of them together?

or can i combined them and pay only 120000?

I called the SG office, they said it will be two separate flights. Sin DPS
the DPS to SYD.

Anyway to tell them that i want to combine?

If you're trying to do a stopover of over 24 hours in both directions, it would be two tickets.

Hmmm, i wasn't trying to do that. Hmm, do i explicitly tell them to combine the tickets into one itinerary ?

VA 4146 leaving at 1 am the following morning.
