Currently at 275k for the year with one Pdx to Quito trip in business left. Should end about 300k.

To me MQMs mean nothing. They are no longer a true testament to how much one flys-you can earn them in so many other ways.

175,000+ actual Butt In Seat, approaching 400,000 MQMs (but who cares).

All miles are paid J. I'm bringing the family to Disney World this month. I booked 4 award seats together in August when the plane was empty in F. Delta decided to split us up sometime between mid OCT and now, and now say they can't move people around to put us back together again....but moving me apparently not a problem. This is the difference between DM and GS on United. Next year I'll fly United a bit more to see if things are settled post merger.

Will end the year with about 100K MQM from flying + 10K from Amex. At 36 segments that will be a recent high for me (a few more double connects this year). Travel is off a bit because I did a 5 week bike ride across Europe (Dunkirk to Vienna) this summer and so I had to stay put and work a bit more. :) 6 TATL trips, the rest domestic (mostly LAX-ATL to see Dear Old Mom)

All is on my own dime, except one client chipped in about $1k for travel expenses (covered maybe half the trip)

Next year is uncertain. One TCON booked and will probably book some more after Xmas but waiting to see if the shoe drops before I book too much.

So, of my 165K MQM, over 160K are BIS. I only got "lucky" on a couple of "can you fly out today" trips this year.

I do, because I'm jealous - how'd you get that many MQMs for so few miles? Even flying first class only gets you to 262,500. That would lead me to believe you have 4 delta reserve cards minimum or something crazy like that?

...dang... 265k wasn't pleasant. 400k is nuts.

hopefully the purser will come by and ask you what they can do for you on the flight, and you can have that taken care of once you are on the plane.

It's not as bad as it looks. 5 flights to Sydney, 2 to Singapore, 2 to JNB and a smattering to Europe and Asia, all on DL metal.

I don't think they see miles, just status. The FA's and Pursers are always top notch and thank me for being a DM. When I flew with United I would connect through O'hare a lot. Every once in a while the Purser would deliver a handwritten note from HQ thanking me for my business. It was a nice touch. There we're also nice gifts delivered to my house at Christmas time. Delta.....nah.

Same here, though I thankfully fly quite a bit less than many. 42 MQS for 30,103 MQM so far, and I was fiddling with FL earlier in the year so lost 6 segments and maybe 4k MQM to them. A couple more trips before Christmas should get me to 46 MQS, 33k MQM. All BIS.

Travel pattern should be similar next year, so with rollover MQS I should be able to easily make GM next year! Oh wait... :rolleyes:

Looking at about 110 MQM by EOY. You guys are giving me an inferiority complex!!! Are you guys travelling on a daily basis or what??

150K MQM, 78 segments. Hopefully that's all the revenue travel I need to make this year...

88K MQM all BIS on 14 segments. :)

Don't feel too humiliated. I'll clock in just over 21K in BIS MQM (27 segments). Fortunately with 5K in rollover from last year and 25K MQMs from AmEx, I'll make Gold. Fortunately travel will pick up next year, at least for the early part of the year. I'll be taking three or four trips (one of which will be on AA so it won't count towards DL points), but I'll be around 5K to 7K MQMs just through January. Not sure how the rest of the year will play out though.

Totals for year:
Total BIS Miles (true miles, all flights): 23K
Total BIS Miles (true miles, Delta flights): 19K
Total BIS MQMs (Delta): 21K

My problem is most of my flying is limited to the East Coast so it's hard to rack up the MQMs from the long trips.

165K MQMs and I am glad to say I am done for the year.....I think. Next year is shaping up to more than that with a few Australia and UAE trips already stacking up.
