Milesboost- When do they post?
I have the Delta Platinum AMEX-- once my spend hits $25,000 will the 10,000 bonus MQMS post immediately?
What if I hit $25,000 very late in the year and the MQMs don't post until the following calendar year? That wouldn't be good as I assume most want them to post during same calendar year.

They will hit when you're statement closes. Even if you hit at the end of the calendar year, and your statement closes after the 1st of the year, they will still count towards the previous year's MQM's.
