My name is Brian and I coordinate the Delta Air Lines Honor Guard, I would like to thank you all for the kind words and would like to address some of the questions asked about us. We try to meet every military remains that comes into or through Atlanta. It is an absolute honor to care for these men and women. We have had the honor of caring for over 1100 fallen heroes. We take care of everybody whether they pass in theater or at home and many times a month we receive repatriated remains from JPAC who are still actively finding MIA’s. We have honored a young woman who passed 2 days into boot camp and USMC 1Sgt. George Humphrey MIA 92 Years KIA on 15 September, 1918. Most but not all who are on the Honor Guard are Veteran’s. I myself have never served because of an injury. The video referred to in an earlier post is actually my oldest son escorting my father’s remains home. We will continue to honor all who serve. Thank You. Brian J. McConnell
