Voucher Change Starting 15 DEC

Just got off the phone with a DM agent who told me that starting tomorrow vouchers (issued tomorrow) will no longer be combinable or transferable anymore...

More enhancements and changes DL

What kind of vouchers? VDB, eCredits, others?

They have been transferable:confused: Unless they are from a non refundable flight.

Delta's Social Media Department will be here to update this issue, right after they are done informing us of the fix for the comment/complaint issue on the website... please be patient....

The question still remains, what "they" means:

Policies regarding Transportation Credit Vouchers issued for 1) Denied Boarding, 2) Service Recovery and 3) Residual Credit are being changed for TCV's issued on or after December 15, 2011. Before Dec 15th..rules remain the same. TCV's can be transferred with knowledge of the voucher number. Also, up to 3 vouchers can be combined to the purchase of a ticket. After Dec 15th..customers receiving a TCV will not be able to transfer it to anyone unless that person is traveling with the recipient in the same PNR. And only one TCV can be applied to the purchase of a ticket.

(Am only providing this information to clear up possible misinformation from the DM line
agent. I am not a spokesperson for Delta.)

The transferable part I can *sort* of live with. The non-combinable part is absolutely ridiculous.

No kidding. SO glad I already used all three of my $200 vouchers on the one flight ... ;)

DLroads Dec 14, 2011 12:13 pm

Yes, I just heard it from the DM desk as well

What other 'enhancements' do you plan for us?!?!

DL:td:

mlad1101 Dec 14, 2011 12:23 pm

Terrible changes if so. :td:

TTT Dec 14, 2011 12:43 pm

Bummer - this is not good. So when we get $5.48 back from a SDC change in the form of a voucher it will just sit until it expires:td:

So should those who have not made their choice benefit selection yet do so now so that they fall under the "old" rules?
