Changes in First Class services?

Platinum here. In the last 2 weeks, both my flights CVG-PHX in First class, I noticed that the flight attendants didn't ask to take my jacket or offer any drinks prior to departure. Is this a new change? I am just curious...

Was it a suit jacket or another kind of jacket? I think this time of year a lot of FAs have gotten out of the habit of looking for jackets. A few sustained cold-weather trips and they start looking again.

This was a huge issue (and discussed ad nauseum) on FT for a while. It seems, for the most part, to have gotten much, much better.

Two things: 1) If you were running late they may have skipped it; 2) If the aircraft was not catered on time (usually you can tell because there are no little water bottles at the seats), they are (by DL rules) allowed to skip the PFB.

In either case, I think it's perfectly appropriate to ask for a beverage. If they say "we can't because........," and you don't like the response, then simply send Delta an email so that they know.

All 4 of my flights last week the FAs offered to take people's jackets and had PDBs. There was even a PDB on my MSP-PHX 757 flight that boarded from 1L a few weeks ago.

I had four flights this week and 3 had PDB service. The 4th did not due to late catering.

On flights about 10 days ago, the FAs took my jacket and offered a PDB.

All 28 of my flights from Sept 1 (excluding 4 CRJ's) had PDB and asking for coats ^. Not sure why your flights did not unless it was due to late departure but when ever that has happened to me all that was skipped was a PDB not asking for and hanging up the coats YMMV.

I hate it when that happens. It wastes the best feature of the 757. It's good they still had PDB though. Surprising, but good.

I'm about to broard my 8th segment of the last 10 days and half have been in F. PFB has been offered every time. When I flew from DCA to ATL on Wednesday the FA took jackets. It was a 757.

When I flew SLC-DCA last week the flight leader actually came through first while we were taxing and asked each person if we were offered and served a drink of our choice.

The flights where PFB is usually missed, in my experience, are DL Connection flights.

Four flights this week. All took my coat and 3 had PDB. The one flight that did not have PDB was because we were late departing.
