You do not get a salad and beef tenderloin or ribs domestically.
Have you flown BE TATL or long haul? I had those same ribs in long-haul BE in Aug. I guess it all comes down to semantics and opinion as to wheter you want to call ATL-BOG catering "BusinessElite lite" or "Domestic First plus." To me, it's far closer to the latter. Based on my TATL experience, true BE has more courses, more choices per course, different presentation and plating, (generally) better food, etc. I wish I had taken pictures of the breakfast on the return BOG-ATL. That breakfast wasn't even "Domestic First plus" level... |

I just flew JFK-BOG last week. The plane was a domestic 737-700, though with pillows and duvets, and the service was:
JFK-BOG Dinner pre-departure champagne warm nuts salad/bread/appetizer course (indeed, duck and cous cous) main course (I chose a steak tenderloin w/wasabi mashed potatoes) dessert (I chose ice cream sundae) BOG-JFK Breakfast Egg omelet with bacon, toast, and some other stuff I actually didn't get to have this because the FA didn't notice I was awake and didn't ask me what I wanted until they were out :( FYI, the last (3rd) row of the 737-700 F cabin makes for really poor seating on a red-eye, unfortunately, as the recline is quite restricted. |
