Upgrade question
 
We just bought tickets for a trip to the States this summer. The tickets were purchased through KLM but our flight from AMS to the US is on Delta metal. Fare class on Delta is an M. I know that's upgradeable. But do I contact Delta (since it's their metal) or KLM?

You'd call Delta if your using DL Skymiles, KLM if you're looking for a Skyteam upgrade using KLM miles. I'm sure KLM will tell you "that it is not possible" but give a try anyway.

If you bought it via KLM then the flight is likely a codeshare and the fare class is a KLM M fare, not a Delta M fare. KLM M is a discounted economy ticket.
