Reading the T&C, this looks like a 65,000 mile offer to me. Read sub-script #1 as well as Roman Numeral I.

The 3-month period is evaluated from the date the Gold Delta SkyMiles Credit Card is issued to the date ending 3 months thereafter. Miles will be credited to your account 2 to 4 weeks after you reach the spend threshold.

Are you seeing something different? Or am I missing something, haha.

I guess it really doesn't matter for, I already have a Gold and a Platinum card. But I'm sure someone will find this useful!

Hmm... I just closed my Amex Gold and downgraded to the options card a few month ago. Do they still limit how many bonus offers you can receive in a certain time period?

Miles Posting All at Once or in Increments?
 

Hi all,

New to FlyerTalk, but I've been reading here and there for a while.

I signed up for the Delta Amex Gold offer (previously had the Classic Delta Amex back around 2004-2005, canceled mid 2006) -- and in my first month I spent just over $3,000 to qualify for the 45,000 bonus miles.

However, in my SkyMiles account now that the first billing cycle has closed, I only see the miles from the purchase (i.e. 3,100 miles from spending $3100) + a 10,000 mile bonus. AmEx CSR said I was definitely signed up for 45,000, but the miles will post for the purchase bonus later (10,000 for signing up, 35,000 additional for spending the $3,000) -- and that the purchase bonus will not appear until 2-4 weeks after meeting the spending requirement.

Has this been anyone else's experience, or is there something wrong with my account?

From what I understand (I signed up for the offer too, both personal and business), they won't post immediately, I remember reading something about it taking that many weeks to post.

I fortunately had a legitimate excuse to spend $6,000 in a month for home improvement and tuition, so I'm loooking forward to seeing the 90k bonus miles plus the 6k that I spent in a few months.

Similarly, I just had the $10,000 posted today for both my account and my wife's account. So appears this is 10,000 mile frosting on the 35,000 mile cake to come after the spending threshold.....

Great. Guess I'll wait four weeks from the close of the $3100 billing statement and give them a ring if I don't see the miles. Thanks!

Have you yet received your 35K bonus? We too received the 10K bonus, and are not waiting for the 35K to post, but skeptical that it will. Was wondering how things worked out for you? Thanks.
