Problem with Delta.com
I am trying to make an award booking using the multi-city function on Delta.com.
I plug in my itinerary, pick out my flights for the 4 segments and then at the end I get an error message saying "One of the flights you selected just sold out. Please try searching again". I get this all the time and the DL CS folks aren't any more helpful. Am I the only one getting this issue or does DL really not want me redeeming my miles? |
I have gotten this so many times and you just have to try and change little things for the website to like the itinerary.

This happens routinely. Not sure if it's intentional bait & switch or 1st graders running IT. I assume the latter given other IT issues at DL.

I have been told by DL agents that the online booking system doesn't like it when your trip includes more than 3 segments on any given leg. Funny that you are allowed to input and request more than 3 segments, but the system freaks oout when you try to book and then you must call DL. Super-frustrating and a waste of the ticketing agent's time, if you ask me.

I got the same message while trying to book a reward ticket: "One of the flights you selected just sold out. Please try searching again".:td:

What tends to work for me is:
- log out of Delta - Clear cookies - exit out of your current browser (IE or Firefox) - open a new browser - log back into Delta - try again |
