Missing Miles and Segments
 

Hey, all. I've been reading the forum for years but never had a need to register. Lately, though, Delta has given me fits with their SM program.

I was a PM for years (I live in ATL), and then moved to the UK with little travel for 2 years. I got 'soft landed' to GM last year (which didn't help as I didn't fly DL at all), and got everything taken away on March 1.

So now, until I build up my status (I mostly do ATL-DCA/IAD/BWI so my 450k MM are deceptive) in the next 2-3 months, I suffer through the cattle calls of zones 3 & 4. Anyway, my question is this; I flew this itinerary:

The 3rd leg is not credited with MQMs or a Segment and the page reads "All segments have been processed. Refer to mileage credit details below." and the note where the * is reads "Duplicate origin or destination."

I filed a credit report, but can I expect to get the segment credit? If not, what can I do to avoid this in the future? I'm going to have to get to GM/PM the hard way (via segments), and can't afford to lose segments this way.

I had a similar March experience , & just emailed the info on the missing mileage info, they posted the miles/segment in 36 hours & sent a confirming email on the lapse. You email delta on the web site under contact info.

+1, usually DL is very fast in email processing.
