If you're referring to gate/flight status updates, those were working for me on my last two trips two weeks ago.

I've never been able to get the SMS/cell phone notifications to work.

The cell phone text notifications worked with nwa.com under the WorldPerks program. NWA used to be very good at delivering text notifications to my cell phone to the point where I was used to receiving a text as I'd arrive at the airport with the latest time and gate information.

For connections, I would turn on my cell phone after landing and have a notification for my connecting flight. If a flight canceled or delayed, I would always get that as a text and it worked extremely well and I would always have the info as soon as I turned my cell phone on upon landing.

Having that info saved my butt a couple times and allowed me to call the plat line while taxiing to the gate to make changes.

I stopped flying DL/NW for the past couple years, as such no longer plat and currently climbing the status ladder with my new DL account.

Now that I've been Deltafied, I've set up notifications to go to my mobile device and it doesn't work. During delays earlier this week I haven't even received a phone call or an email even though I have this setup at delta.com

Will go back and check my settings on delta.com -- but I think the notification system is broken. ?

are notifications based on profiles on nwa.com or delta.dumb? All of a sudden I'm getting phone calls in addition to emails. With NW, it was always the way I had requested: email only.

Yesterday I received 3 phone calls and 2 emails telling me my flight departure time had changed. No SMS messages.

Problem was my flight had not changed.

Several others on my flight all reported the same thing. And had happened to them multiple times over the past week.

The DL.COM auto profiles for flight info have never worked right.
The DL.COM Notifications individual (must set each flight manually) SMS usually works.
