i also got expedient help from mr pinto with gifting status after crossing the threshold back in september and not having any luck with the website. i wonder how many requests he is getting per day now ?

Thanks for the update, you are spot on re timing. 100k-200k have all taken about 4-5 weeks and in the absence of an email went straight to the link and filled out the form, no problems. Thanks for communicating the delay issues.
I think I can speak for most of us "really FF" we appreciate being communicated with regarding issues like this. DS |

Just wanted to publicly acknowledge Kevin and thank him for his help. I have emailed Kevin on more than a couple of occasions when I have had problems with mileage awards and bonuses and he has always been extremely helpful and prompt in taking care of them.

Kevin came through for me too. Got me my 150k threshold award in less than 24-hours, when DL still has not responded. I'm sending DL a message telling them to give Mr. Pinto a raise! I hope he gets one.

Kevin has been very responsive in his attempts to help me secure a 100K award, but the website isnt cooperating - not his fault, but it illustrates how the fundamentally flawed (broken) IT issues at DL undermine even the best of their customer service personnel.
FIX YOUR I.T. ISSUES! I can wait on the threshold award, just giving me an online award miles booking process that works and is competitive to every other major airline! |

Kevin - Leaps Tall Buildings in a Single Bound
I passed 150K in late September and despite numerous calls and email was unable to gift my 10 year old daughter gold status (from her butt-in-seat silver). Kevin took less than 24 hours fix it - on a weekend!
My daughter thanks you, I thank you, and my husband offers his gratitude because when only two of the three of us cleared as PM, PM, FO, he was the one stuck in coach! His chances of sitting up front should be improved now that we are PM, PM, GM ;).... at least until we are DM, DM, GM... On a related note, the tween is flying unaccompanied on Tuesday and wants to know if there is anything in the Unaccompanied Minor rules to prevent her from getting the upgrade? Anyone know? Thanks again, Kevin! |

I had as many problems as anyone getting my 125K (and several tiers beyond) awards to post, but *without* contacting Kevin nor Delta, it finally worked a couple days ago. I believe they have it fixed now - thanks DL! - so I suggest that anyone who is still unredeemed should try one last time to clear their cookies, try a couple of browsers, and it should work using the standard redemption link.

Hilarious. 48 hours after Kevin fixing my account I get an email from DL saying I crossed the 100K threshold (uh, I did this in Sept...).
Wonder if I should try again. :D |
