Everything moved over for me except for the JFK-ATH flight of Oct. 1-2, which would put me over 50K EQM. It's sitting there all alone in my old WP account. I hope they notice, because I'd like to be Gold Medallion for the return trip and I don't want to have to try calling Delta from Athens.
I'm surprised that I have over 400K lifetime miles. |
Actually, delta.com is enhanced.
Even though all of my reservations still show my old NW WP Plat #, I am now finally able to see entire seat maps and select from 'premium' and exit row seats without having to call the airline. This is GREAT! -RM |
Still needs some enhancing
delta.com may have been enhanced but it still needs some work. I have a DL reservation that I booked on Thursday with my SkyMiles # attached. The reservation was booked after my accounts merged and my SM account got upgraded to platinum. Problem is the reservation system isn't recognizing my plat status. So no "upgrade requested", can't pick premium seats, etc.
I tried switching the FF # on the reservation to my CO OnePass number, then switching back to my SM #. Didn't help (except that I could pick exit row seats while my CO number was on the reservation). And you can't put a WP # on the reservation any more. Does anyone else have this problem? Do I need to call to get this fixed? |

Try logging into Delta.com with your old WorldPerks, now-referred-to-as SkyMiles number and PIN. Great work on the technology, Delta ^
It could also be a record for receiving email from Delta. I had the email show up within 5 seconds. Note: this is just for fun. I didn't actually expect any info to appear on delta.com. -RM |
What's the point of entering the last name to log in?

Of course, one has to wonder if DL is going to run their cron job for updating reservations systems this weekend with the thousands of new elites the SM program now has. It will take longer than normal to run but DL may have some other ways of doing this. -RM |

Stripe - if I had to guess you are being hit by the back-end system update that DL does every Sat night or Sunday morning. That is when all elite statuses are updated and reflected in every reservation. I have a feeling that if you login tomorrow (Sunday) and check your itinerary that it will properly reflect your Platinum status and should show your upgrades as requested. You may want to try removing and re-adding your SM# at that time if it doesn't show upgrade requested the first time.

Either way, requiring last name is a nice (and fairly painless) security improvement. PIN codes are fairly insecure and account numbers (I believe) are sequential. It makes it that much harder for someone to break into an account; while using a value that everyone knows about themselves. |
All my miles move over seamlessly but my Thursday flight posted to my NWA account. They are sitting there all alone.

Maybe former WP members got something straightened out, but for me the new website adds nothing to the old one and takes away something instead. |
I just checked a KL reservation and it still has my WP number. I hope that status is properly recognized.

Anyone having problems accessing seatmaps or online checkin?
I flew on Oct 2, same day as WP miles were transferred, returning today. My itin is now showing 'ineligible' for online checkin. |

All my future flights copied from nwa.com to delta.com (they show up on both) EXCEPT FOR ONE ITIN. One itin on nwa.com did not copy to delta.com. Easy fix, change your WP number on that itin to show your SM number. My stray itin popped up on delta.com IMMEDIATELY. I mean like three seconds later. |
