Pricing Error....What to Do?
I appologize in advance for not providing all the details....I don't want to be tracked on this one.
I booked a cruise on one of the big websites. The price quoted was fantastic. Maybe better than fantastic. Not $10 or something like that, but probably about half of what I would have expected. I went ahead and booked, and got multiple confirmations from the travel site. They charged my card, I have multiple records of them accepting the booking. Now they say it was too good a deal, and I can't keep my reservation. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. There was no small (or large) print that I missed on this. They just priced too low and then wanted to change it. |
It really depends on many things. Basically as soon as they confirm the booking and take the money from you, they enter a binding contract under many legislations.

Also, do you think they'd let you just cancel without penalty if you make a mistake? Not bloody likely. I say hold 'em to the contract, it's you're right. Threaten to take it to court. Good luck, and keep us posted if you can. Oh, and welcome to FT. |
If they have already cancelled or are in the process of cancelling your trip what's your concern about being tagged? Looks like they got you already. Someone may be able to offer you more assistance if you offer more details.
