HI,
Celebrity Cruises is quite good as far as theire ships are concerned , I prefer the Constelation to the millenium but because of the itinerary they tend to use smaller ships.
-The quality of their food service is wonderfull. However if you are a party girl this is not the ship for you. Celebrity is very much like a floating spa and most people go to bed Early.
- Book your shore excursions ASAP. The benefit to booking directly with the company, Although they tend to be mose expensive, if you bus gets a flat the ship will not leave without you no matter how late you are :-:

We have cruised Celebrity 7 times. Have never really had a bad cruise. Can't say this about other lines. Food is great, ships are clean, passengers are more reserved than Carnival, NCL or RCCL. You won't find people chugging beer out of a funnel off someone's balcony. LOL
Much more upscale atmospere than most mainstream cruiselines. Formal dress for dinner is pretty well adhered to. Plenty of things to do, from a quiet drink on your balcony to the party band around the pool. You have to do the Trivia-it is sooo much fun.
Enjoy your cruise. The Med is a great itinerary.

as mentioned many times here: cruisecritic.com is your source for all things cruise. the flyertalk of cruises.
p.s. prepare to be flamed for also posting this on the europe board. somewhere out there UPGRADE ME is preparing his usual witty response.
p.p.s. celebrity is a good line. we just got back yesterday from their 12 day baltic cruise. it was nice.

We did this same itinerary on the Millennium 2 years ago. It was a great trip! The ship is a sister ship of the Constellation, Summit and Infinity.
The food is excellent, the service is outstanding. I think it would be a good choice.
(Our friends did it last year and were very pleased with the itinerary and the ship.)

We too sailed on the Millennium for a 12 night Med cruise 3 years ago. It was the best cruise that we've done. Ports of call were fantastic and we loved the ship. Service, Food both excellent. Quiet in the evening, but to be honest the Med itinerary is so intensive, this is a good thing. Their Speciality restaurant "The Olympic" was outstanding.
Let me know if you have any specific questions. Sue

the other 1/3 will probably be spent on Lake Como.
