How long to post for various CC's?

I was wondering how long it takes for the bonus from various airline CC's to post. I know what their terms and conditions say, but I was wondering what the actually observed time frame is like. I was wondering for the Citi AA MC, the Chase United Visa, the Delta Gold Amex, and any other cards. After the purchase requirements are met ($750 in purchases for some cards, any purchase for other cards), how long does it take for the bonus to post? Thanks for any info.

Citi is pretty good - points post after the first billing period.

Some people (in other threads here) found that the CC AA bonus miles didn't post until the statement was paid, not just issued. I can't tell you whether that's the case for me, as I've paid all my bonus-qualifying statements early (before they close) just to make sure I get the bonus miles to post on the first statement (on which I've satisfied the $750 spend).

No, the payment has NOTHING to do with the posting time of the miles, bonus and spending included.

What you alluded to, might be related to a period a few months ago when Citi bonus were not posted on time (when Point.com apparently were withholding the bonus, to the letter of the T&C), and when the bonus finally posted, happened to co-incide with people paying off their statement balance by due date.

In a normal situation, Citi miles posted after midnight of the 2nd day post Statement date - that is, if there is no weekend or holidays involved, and is not the last week of month when AA runs its monthly batch updates.
