I've been using them for some hotel bookings and the bonuses can be really good. They also have an option to book a chain hotel and get status benefits + ~5x rove miles, but I haven't tried this out since I can't use corp rates. Haven't tried buying anything via the extension.

There have been mixed data points. Some are posting at 1x but if you call they'll adjust it back to 4x for you

My main concern is bonus points and loyalty elite night credits showing up with a program such as Marriott. It looks like it will though. I am pretty sure that if making a booking on Rove, if anything goes wrong, you would have to deal with Rove directly and await their response correct? This would be similar to a third party booking since it isn't direct.
