So, about the gift card for an airline, can I just attempt this via an airline? Seems SanDiego1k got reimbursed for buying an AA $50 GC - was this done via an online portal, airline website, etc.?

I bought it on the AA website. I was also reimbursed for the $5.60 security fees on two separate tickets. Those aren't reimbursable but they were.

Bought 2 AA GCs for a total of $250. Both got refunded without any problems...

Alaska airlines gift cards do not seem to work. I did a $25 test and it came through as completely unrelated to air travel.

I did an inflight purchase on Alaska and it posted as category fast food. However it was credited anyway 3 days later, so yours still my credit.

I am trying PGGM now, it's been 2 days, will let you guys know the results.

How long from the date you all applied until your card came?

It felt like a very long time. It took one week from application to approval. Then it took another 10 days or more to get the card.

I went into a branch to apply today, but unfortunately, he asked me for my tax returns , which I didn't have on me. So I need to go back in on Monday to take care of that.

I'm a bit nervous because on the terms and conditions, it states: "If additional information is needed, the processing of your application may take longer and delay the opening of your account. If your account is opened after November 30, 2015, your account will not qualify for this bonus point offer."

With Thanksgiving coming up, I'm scared that the app won't get approved before the 30th. Will see what happens :(

Wow! I applied last Thursday and got called this Tuesday about approval. I haven't gotten my card yet, but if it takes a month, I might not be able to get the airline credit in 2015.

I'm sure yours will be quicker. I applied via email on 10/1 and they kept on requesting my over slowly over time. If your approved I bet you get everything with two weeks for sure.

I just remembered that CN reimburses the airline credit in a matter of days, not at statement close like Citi.

I can confirm PGGM is working, test amount was between $100 and $150.

I purchased a southwest gift card on November 12 and it has not been reimbursed yet. Edit: I used my auth user card. Has anyone received reimbursement from an airline purchase on an auth user card?
