How Current is Cerdit Karma?
 

I want to do a mini app-o-rama, but I'm waiting for my balances to be reported as zero. When I pulled Transunion from annualcreditreport.com earlier this month, I noticed that the info is updated on the statement closing date. One of my cards' statement closing date was the 15th, but as of today credit karma still shows a balance of about $1000. Does anybody know how often their info is updated? While I can wait to apply, I don't really want to.

I've noticed with most of my accounts CK/TU is the last to update; Day 1 = Ex, Day 2 = EQ, Day 3 = CK/TU. Day 0 would be the night the statement prints on whatever account it is.

I believe the update date in the report is the date reported to TU, not necessarily the date TU made the actual change to your report. But just give it a couple days and it should update.

My four-month-old mortgage is still not showing up in CK. I've lost all faith in it.

CK is as up to date as TU.

reports are pulled in real time. If TU has something, CK will display it.

Sound like your lender's problem. As state above TU/CK report at the same time. However I've always noticed they are last to show any updates of the 3 bureaus.
