I was never told it. The person on a phone said we use a "different" flight rate. If you wish I can give you a phone number to Copa ConnectMiles, maybe you will have more patience to figure it out yourself unless they ...hang-up on you.
But even if they said the rate, it still does not change the main fact that offering super cheap price for ...more than original price is quite ridiculous.

Complete nonsense. When I book the flight, I check 2-3 websites for the best price and I buy it. I do not have time to do research to figure out what rate that price is based on. Unless as rate you meant price. Then yes, they told me that and it was way higher than the price (rate) I found on line. I asked why it's so high and their answer was "because we just use different rate".

Becoming circular now.

I have not had a good experience with COPA. Their agents are really nice over the phone but when you try to use any of their offers, they prices quickly escalate. If I did know any better, I would call them a Scam airline. But I guess I know better not to insult thieves!
