I did a search but could not find exactly what I was looking for.
I have a refundable B fare ticket LHR-EWR 1-way with confirmed upgrade to BF. Paid the $100 fee and used miles when I booked the ticket.
If I cancel the trip I know I get the miles back but do I get the $100 fee back as well ?

Since the upgrade was confirmed TMOTEE probably does not get the $100 back...

Since you are a platinum there is no fee to redeposit the reward that was issued to you. Were you of lesser elite status you'd pay the $150 and then get your $100 refunded.

That's not ideal, I did call the CO OP desj and they said 10k miles... and looking online B is : Discount Full Fare Economy" and earns 150% miles and 2 points....Originally Posted by TMOTEE

My experience with my last deposit was not so easy, I moved flights and did not re wait-list... my USD350 came back, but miles redeposit took a phone call 2 weeks later to get the miles back...
