Bout time! its also good in that it should mean shorter lines by the gate to speak to the GA, as those wishing to know the info the GID will be posting wont need to ask the GAs any longer

LOL!

Buying that many displays would bankrupt any airline. :D

Scott:
IMPORTANTLY, will the upgrade lists on the GID be the same as we have now or will the be the final PROJECTED positon, which is more valuable to us. This was discussed at DO III and I thought it was decided that CO would look into it. At DO IV, I met Jared who confirmed that he has the ability to do it, but was not working on it. His concers were IRROPS, misconnects, etc., but we have those same issues now. I respectfully suggest that the display post the projected FINAL positon.
Thanks

This would cause chaos. There are plenty of factors that couldn't be predicted - the most frequent being people re-booking onto an earlier flight. Suddenly your "projected" position could drop dramatically, which would be certain to cause annoyance / confusion.

I would be 100% opposed to this.

We do not have those same issues now because the info posted is the current, not the projected final. It would introduce those issues.

Sure, the list is relatively useless until ~60 minutes before the flight (unless you're already at the bottom), but introducing the projected number would be more trouble, I think.

This is great news!

I just wandered over to E5 and saw them. Not surprisingly they look just like they did at the do.

For the two gates in E they are off to the side rather than near the door or the counter, but I don't really see it being a problem.

Even if the economies weren't an issue. Do we really need "Your flight is on a small plane fit for people 4'8" and below" in HD?

At OLCI for a recent RJ-RJ itinerary, I received the news that although first class seats were not presently available, I had been placed on the upgrade list. Knowing my position on this "upgrade list" at B84 would be immensely helpful :p

Woo-hoo! This is great! Keep it up guys!

While the upgrade standby list is pointless for COEX flights, the other information on the displays, like the flight standby list and in-flight amenities, is still relevant.

They are in great location in IAH E4 + E5, u dont want them to close to the doors and counter as they are gonna have a crowd of people underneth the screens. Saw them in EWR as while they were also in very good locations.Screens have alot of good info and ads would be cool to add destination pics and ads to show of CO worldly destinations.

Will there be automated announcement added to the system? Much more betta as EWR has so many different accents and language with the GA's. Would be great to have automated announcements in English as well as that destinations language
