The Coke Zero COnspiracy

Since there are Rondele and Nutella conspiracies on this board I decided to add one. Why is Coke Zero not served in the P Clubs if it is now served onboard. I am glad it is onboard now but I would like to see it instead of Diet Coke in the P CLubs It goes soooooo much better with rum than diet coke.

Who knows? Although on board service has had better, and more, beverage selections than the PCs for quite some time now. The selection of alcohol on board is generally better than what's in the PCs (excluding the new premium liquor available at select clubs).

Whiskey and Coke Zero is good -- doesn't fill you up like full-flavor Coke when conducting a bender in the PC...

My flight today had only one can of Zero in F.

I went through three cans on my flight to EWR so proof that they stock more than 1.

While we're at it, can we get the Bombay Sapphire to replace Beefeater in the clubs? That'd make my day, and I wouldn't have to wait until I'm onboard to start with the G&T's ;)...

Proof that your flight had more than one. Not that the other did. Of course my last F had at least two as well.

And while we're talking about the lack of Zero in the PC, can we just dump the entire Coke line? I mean, what better way to give DL the finger on the way out of ST than to drop ATLs only contribution to society?

I say we replace it with Dr. Pepper. Not only would we be dropping ST hub for OW hub coolness, but then WN would have some competition on the good soda front.

I agree 100%. Several years ago the PCs carried Dr Pepper, but it was removed in the cutbacks following 9/11. I suspect that for operational reasons a decision was made to only carry fountain soda therefore limiting the number of soft drinks which could be served by the number of lines that go to a fountain head. I'd love for PCs to revisit carrying both Dr. Pepper and Coke Zero...but suspect that the math will turn out he same way. Now, if PCs decided to start offering self-serve soda using excess real estate generated by the ever shrinking food options...

I'd love for the PC to carry Dr Pepper products, RC cola and Diet RC, way better than Coke :D

7up, it is good too.

^^^ +1. Give me that extra can of iced tea back! :D

Lots of us miss Dr. Pepper and 7-Up in the PC and on board. :(

Mackieman Feb 25, 2009 7:46 am

I enjoyed several cans of Ginger Ale over the course of the three or four hours I was in the PC before and after the Do. I was surprised they had it, actually. I would be surprised that they would stock any cans other than that, but it would be interesting to have a self serve machine perhaps.
