FYI, you could have gotten CO to credit you with either your original routing or with the IAH-LHR which ever would have been greater (I think a B now gets 150% EQM so IAH-LHR would have been nice, then let BMI credit whatever *A you wanted to. Lets say it wasnt gonna be a 'B' but reg EQMs then I would have figured out which routing would yield me the most and requested that and still get LHR-BFS to *A.

Its known if you had say a LAS-CLE-FLL and were placed onto say AA to EWR and CO EWR-FLL, then CO would still have to credit you for a LAS-CLE-FLL routing and AA will credit you for the LAS-EWR flights you took with them, or as I say a Frequent Flyers Dream,Double Dipping!

As for DUB, you will love it alot over BFS if you ever experience BFS that is. Since you were going to head to DUB anyway, very Sweet that CO picks up the tab.

I will remember the double dipping opportunity on CO next time. Who knows, I may have the opportunity to do it tomorrow.

I handle this 2 different ways

1- I call CO up once I was confirmed onto the other Carrier and ask that they credit me for my original flights, usually they check to make sure Im not pulling anything and say 'done'.

2- if I cant call or wont (if out of US) then I get the BP for the other Carrier Without having given them the Acct# I want credited. This way the BP wont show any acct on it (just in case CO asks me to fax them a copy of the BP) and before actually boarding Id say 'Oh I just noticed my FFB# isnt on the BP can you please put it in'. Even if they print up a new BP I hold onto the old one w/o any acct # on it, in case it will be needed.

OT is there enough in DUB to keep 1 busy for 3 days, Im toying with heading over in a couple of weeks for 2 or 3 days, looking to simply walk around and not do any touring outside of the city itself
