Not news for CO FA's
 

Yesterday I asked several FA's on different flights if they had heard of this story - none of them had. They said mgmt used to share these stories, but do not do so anymore, ostensibly in a "focus on good news" effort and because they just seem more and more common. The one incident they did say was shared was the incident with the preacher Joel Osteen's wife....I am guessing because she is high profile.

Side note: none of them had heard of FT either and were interested enough to write down the address

I was on this flight. I know the flight attendant. The flight attendant held her composure quite well. She took a masive amount of abuse before she called the flight deck. It was the pilots decision to land the plane after he described how he would cut off her head in Palm Springs, while on the phone. This was recorded on the flight recorder. Her concern was the safety of the flight and passengers. She did everything within reason to control the situation. Most passengers were not aware of the threat until the plane landed. That tells you she did her job well. He admitted without question to federal agents all that had happened. No witnesses were called to his trial due to his confession. And NO he is NOT allowed on any flight ever again. This flight attendant did a fantastic job at protecting the flight and passengers. Her concern was always her passengers. And she and the crew did continue to Palm Springs, they were late, but they did complete the flight without Mr. Proskin. You should pray that you have a flight attendant like her. Also maybe you should rethink your noise cancelling headphones. the people who were not aware of the threat were mostly those who could not hear what was going on.

He was on phone saying he'd cut her head off while in the air? Huh?

They have flight recorders in the cabin now? Or was he in the cockpit on his phone describing how he'd cut her head off in Palm Springs?

So wait? He was disruptive and vile with obscenities on an ERJ and most of the plane didn't hear it? That doesn't seem odd at all..... (cough)

I was just thinking... sheesh I wonder if they made up some time in flight and managed to make it on time too...

So wait... most of the flight didn't hear the disturbance because MOST of the plane was wearing noise cancelling headphones? I'm sorry but ummm Hmmm 1st post... Welcome to FT but it's a shame your post is fraught with inconsistencies and highly suspicious.

Good timing for both of you, made me remember this thread. Seems Mr Proskin's "vacation" would have ended (or be ending soon). A BoP seach indicated his current status as "UNKNOWN" :confused:, and his location as "IN TRANSIT":confused:.

Maybe he is just getting out?
