I have never been able to successfully change a flight online despite many, many attempts.

I, too, have had the same problem with my last 5 or so flight changes. Nothing a call to co.com doesn't fix though.

Yup, I had a refundable ticket last week (BEFORE 1/1) that I couldn't change online. It kept giving me an error and telling me to call CO.com. I had the same problem last night when I tried to change this week's refundable ticket from Saturday-Friday. It's CLE-IAH and the last was IAH-DTW, so it's not like it's anything difficult.

I can occasionaly change tickets online. It seems (though I'm not sure) to work on only simple thru fares. If the fare is split at a connecting city or all flights are not in the same fare class, a problem seems to arise. I'm going to be more dilligent in trying to document this.
