Indeed...that might shift the value enough for me that I'd consider enrolling in the program. Of course, the fact that I'm not flying as much will likely keep me from doing so, but I'll at least consider it now.

2009 Link?

sdm1130 Sep 28, 2008 2:07 pm

IIRC, the 15k extra mileage program was $99 for International OnePass customers (and $150 for US customers). I don't see the promotion in my News & Offers yet, so I suspect that this is not for US customers.

I couldn't find one either. Perhaps you missed the promo number in the above post, though. It is AC9M05. I've not called CO to sign up, but if it truly is 15k for $99 I might even be inclined to sign up.

You are exactly right, I just figured that's the case. :D

As far as OnePass is concerned, I am "Not a US customer" and I don't see it in my news & offers either.

True, but the way I see it, it's also giving me the opportunity to upgrade a non-elite family member or friend for a relatively cheap price. I've done this before on longer flights where I was almost assured of a Platinum EUA, but the chances of a companion upgrade at the airport were slim to none. I've also gifted upgrades to non-elite family members and friends on occassion when I'm not flying with them if they were on a long flight.

And even if you're going for the premium rewards, 15,000 is 15% of a round trip BusinessFirst award ticket between the US and Europe. That's not insignificant, and it's certainly cheaper than acquiring those 15,000 miles by doing a mileage run or other paid travel.

Ditto. My One Pass address is outside North America. I checked this morning (European time) and, after I sign in, there is no mention of this under One Pass News and Offers or One Pass Promotions.

Has anyone else been allowed to sign up this year?

I called the OPSC and the code provided (AC9M05) is for Latin America only. There also is an AC9M02 for North America but the rep told me that was last year's promo code. This year's isn't out yet - she said it should be in the next month or so...

Its still not on the web site as a listed offer and you can't find it with a search, but the OPSC is aware of it and will process it. I had hoped for a 25K max which would be a ticket but we'll each take the 17,500 RDM at a penny per.
