Automatic Elite Upgrade Question Vanished...
So I upgraded an outbound flight segment today using miles, when I went back in to co.com look at my reservation I noticed that the automatic elite upgrade YES/NO question disappeared from my return segment.
Has anyone else noticed this? I called co.com to confirm that I would still be appropriately prioritized within the EUAs, and they said that I would. I guess this is just another bug in the system :rolleyes: |
Yes, this is a bug that has been discussed many times here before. It happens completely at random and does not necessarily mean that you are still not in the queue for an upgrade.

I think CO Insider said they were removing that functionality, it was causing too many problems. I may be remembering incorrectly, it should be in a relatively recent thread.

Later this year, we're planning to remove the upgrade questions altogether from our kiosk and online check-in systems, and simply add eligible Elite members to the upgrade standby list automatically (unless you've requested otherwise via continental.com, over the phone or at the airport). |
