I for one am going to miss our one unique plane. Some hated it, others loved it. Either way, it always was a conversation starter. I am proud to say I have had the pleasure of working on PM to LGW. Maybe we can convince CO to have another special livery by the time the 20th and final 777 goes in for its conversion!!! Any ideas? Maybe a retro scheme, or maybe one with the FlyerTalk logo on the tail instead of the globe. ;) ;) ^

I'll miss the unique paint scheme as well. I've flown the bird a few times, mainly on the EWR-LGW route, but in my travels I've seen it at airports around the world as well as here in the states.

Love it or hate it, Peter Max (ship N77014) is/was Continentals only plane with special paint. It will definitely be missed. :td:

The passing of the Peter Max 777 marks the end of a visible symbol of the Gordon Bethune era and its aspirations of being an airline with a soul.

Like it or not, the Peter Max plane was exceptional and made a strong statement.

What similar initiative will mark the regime of Larry Kellner? The elimination of the 500-mile bonus for booking on co.com?

The arrival of the 787 in CO colors -- Gordon ordered it, but he didn't have to worry about how CO would finance the planes. Larry does.

You can worry about how to finance planes and have a soul...the two are not mutually exclusive...

Peter was great. Flew him trans atlantic. A nice contrast with CO's typical boring paint job.

Heck, I liked Braniff!
