I am trying for 3-4 FFN's during January, which will start my requalifying year nicely. I will do whatever I can to requalify after this year -- I probably have gotten $10k worth of benefit (including the free London trip) from the Hyatt program this year (I will post something at year-end on Hyatt board that enumarates all of this). I can spend $1200 to requalify after that...

Had an interesting discussion at work. I get ~$2,300 to travel this year at minimum (research and presentations). I brought up "state government rate" and "requalifying at Hyatt". My colleagues partially understand - they'll have a better idea when we go to the same events, I use a suite upgrade, and they're in the Comfort Inn and Suites for the same room rate ;)

That happened when I was a corporate trainer based out of DC but with offices in LAX and SLC ...

have been on an SPG run -- but it's time to switch back & work on my Hyatt a/c!;)

That's the only hotel program I have a membership in where I'm not a top-tier elite at the moment. I'd be willing to trade my Priority Club Platinum for Hyatt status if only Hyatt had properties in more places that I need to go for work.
