Should Champagne not be served, any alcoholic beverage will be counted as Champagne.

If No Alcoholic beverage is served: Wrong carrier/class.

Presently in EZE, drinking Malbec, I cheer you all!

Thanks - so BD is a year from promotion to Gold rather than a calendar year? I've got all my travel for 2009 scheduled now.

Yes, just about 13 months. I was matched on 25 Sept and my Gold is good thru 30 November 2010.

Understand the sentiment but I'm out doing other work at the moment - in Kentucky right now.

Never too earlier!! I got a text from my adopted brother who lives south of you saying he was in Linchberg, TN at Jack Daniels!! I was jealous as I was working a golf tournament here!!

Unfortunately, I live in a county that says Champaign on Sundays is a no-no! For that matter nothing above 3.2!! No wonder so many people go to church around here, they are praying for God to intervene and change the liquer laws!!

Another slow and boring day at work. Would love to leave and do something more exciting but alas must stay at desk!!

I read the on-line version of it. Very nice. Nice photo too. ^

I'm probably not going to say anything you don't know, but if you're looking at jobs that are under the Foreign Service specialist categories (at least some of IT is one of them), then you automatically are going to be screened for Top Secret clearance.

Given your level of international travel, Top Secret can become problematic, if for no other reason then they just get tired to trying to get follow-up support from stations abroad. Make sure to check the "clearance" aspects of the jobs you're looking at. If it's just "Secret," it will be order of magnitude easier for you to get it.

I did know that the job included said clearance. I'm happy to wait it out while they process it all. I do still have my gig for now.

And if it doesn't happen, such is life. I'll get over it.

BTW, do yall start getting recipricol free flights on *A right away? or did yall already have those??

Why would I want napkins with the CO logo? I can pick those up anywhere. :D

We can travel benefits on most airlines. Some we can receive free passes and others we have to purchase. The purchase fares are called ZED fares and all the airlines use the same formula: $ per miles flown. I'm hoping to see a better rate/deal once the * thing gets going.

Apparently when I put in for my CR1 upgrades on next weekend's HNL run .bomb decided that I didn't really want the upgrade on EWR-ORD. I just spent 30 minutes on the phone listening to Rhapsody in Blue while they figured it out. On the plus side, the up went through right away. I've now cleared on 4/5 flights. Only ORD-SFO hasn't (mid-morning Friday flight) and I don't really expect it to.

The scanning will take me a few days - the new office doesn't have a scanner. Seriously
