I came pretty close to being in serious trouble during ejection training. Not from the air, though: water. To simulate coming down in water, we were supposed to jump out of a boat, swim under an open parachute, and get up into a raft on the other side. Easy enough, except the survival suit I had been issued was about 6 sizes too big. When I jumped in, all the trapped air went to the feet, and my head went under water. I couldn't hear one instructor yelling to force open the neck band of the suit (and must have missed that in the class ;)), but another one jumped in, got my head up, and let the air out (and water in, of course). Thereupon, everything was normal.

Just don't do it off the coast, and you should have a great time. :p

It's relatively cool here, and the lab is more active than in days. I'm going to go give him extra retrieving.
