ok ok I drove back to IAH and said that I found them lying on the ground near the gate. Lady was nice and even let me keep a couple, telling me that they were "compensation" from continental for a good deed. Nice touch
OT: I was reading USA Today on my way to the airport and came across an article about how problems with the airlines are mostly rude and unruly passengers. Disgusts me when I see this. FLight attendants have a very hard job that most of us couldn't dream of doing. Kudos to them |

This whole thread reminds me of the cool Cisco IP phones they used to have at the Presidents Clubs...that they had to remove when people started stealing them. Just remember that ultimately the passenger pays when someone takes advantage of the airline.
Best story on this I ever heard was when a college deployed these in the dorms and the first thing they did was take a Polaroid of one to all the pawn shops and tell them to call the IT groups when they started showing up. Worked well, a few disappeared, came back and then no problems after that! |
