It has been said that it's a very good thing that people who don't want children don't have them - they would probably be lousy parents. Fine with me either way.

IAH C Club is like a pre-school right now! There's a girl in the lounge (maybe 3 yrs old) screaming because her parents are making her eat an apple before she can have a cookie. In the TV lounge, there's a lady with 3 kids (maybe 12, 10 & 8) that are running around & walking over the seats to get to the next row. The girl (youngest) just spilled her mothers drink all over herself, the chair & the floor. The Family Room is open. They should force families with kids under 10 to be in the family room or stay outside. It's rediculous that one tries to find a sanctuary free from the stress of an airport and has to put up with this in a lounge. Oh, and the child's mother has been on her cell phone several times in the TV lounge with the sign in front of her "No Cell Phone Use in the TV Room"...

EWR is equally nuts right now! (both kids /and/ adults)

No. What they should do is politely but firmly suggest that those parents that can't control their kids go into the family room.

Most kids are not a problem. My kid has always been fine. There were gobs of kids in the KL lounge in Amsterdam a couple of times that I was there recently, and none of them posed the slightest problem.

That would make me more mad than the kids' behaviour.

The back room (bar area) at the P/WorldClub at ORD has posted signs that also state NO CELL PHONE USE IN THIS AREA. Last October some SIBM was jabbering away on his phone and annyoying everyone in the room. Another guy got up, grabbed the metal free-standing sign from the front of the room and placed it (loudly) about one foot in front of where Mr. SIBM was sitting/talking.

The guy got up and left the club.

EWR is totally filled up with kiddies right now. No place in the entire club has even a small likelihoos of calm. Ugh!

Yuck! Two 'Paris Hilton wannbees' were in IAH PC South last night playing with the phones in the laptop work area (making them ring, etc, giggling constantly) - luckily no one was on their laptop or trying to work. They were completely un-supervised and the parents were no where to be found.

If I was trying to work, I would have asked the staff to boot them back into the terminal.

Perhaps the 'no one under 21' rule can be enhanced to require children be accompanied and supervised by their parents at all times while in the club?
