? About Mileathon statement

For the first time ever, I was targeted and have been dutifully trying to use CO whenever possible.

How do I see what I've been credited with to date? I don't see anything on my online statement.

I did a search, & I see a mention of being able to see it online, but I can't find a link for it.

Am I missing something?

Eventually, when you go to the main "My Account" page, there will be a link on the upper left of the page that says "View My Mileathon Activity." It took about two months from the start of the last Mileathon for my activity to be displayed, but that was during the transition to the new website. Perhaps it will appear quicker now that the new website has been operational for awhile.

CO 1E is correct. As soon as the first Mileathon statements are available (currently planned for the end of November), they'll be viewable from the "My Account" page.

Actually, my post was somewhat inaccurate: the "View My Mileathon Activity" link appears in the upper left, not upper right, of the screen.

Any update on when the statements for Mileathon will be available online Scott? Also, will it be an active statement or just give an end of the month recap? Thanks for any help Scott!

fireworksboy Dec 4, 2006 10:47 am

Bump to get Scott's attention, I shouldn't have asked the question on a Friday night anyway - my fault.

Sorry for the delay in getting these statements out. They were originally slated for 28-Nov, but we've had some unexpected delays getting some partner credits posted. My best estimate is that they'll be out within a week.

It'll be a static monthly recap.

Thanks Scott!

Mothura Dec 5, 2006 11:24 am

Well I just went into my acct under deals and offers to check what activity give me which mileathon points. But now the mileathon link is missing and I was one of the chosen this year .

Does anyone have the link to which activity gives those points?

The Mileathon statement is now visible on my account!! ^
Unfortunately the statement only covers the time period of Oct. 1-31, 2006. While I appreciate the statement, I hope this becomes more current as we get closer to the end of the promotion so that if I need to top off my promo with a purchase of a Pres Club membership, I can. If I don't know my total, I don't see it happening.

johnsmith Dec 6, 2006 7:44 pm

Wow!

The statement is visible on my account as well and I want to say THANK YOU!! to continental for presenting an incredibly well designed statement. Every single point I earned is well explained--it gives confirmation #s for my flights, lists check-in dates, etc.

Only thing missing would be to say what the highest point earners have accumulated. I don't think I'm anywhere near the top (54 points), but it would be cool to know how high someone has gotten.

Mary2e Dec 7, 2006 7:21 am

^^ Great statement. Thanks.

I already have 35 points, and that's BEFORE I started shopping ;).

Nesta Dec 7, 2006 8:11 am

Please remind me what the F fare used to be?

I should add my kudos as well for the detailed description of the statement. Very nice job CO IT.

Billiken Dec 8, 2006 6:59 am

Great job re the layout and, in my case, accuracy of the statement. ^

johnsmith Dec 11, 2006 1:51 pm

any idea who has the most points at this point?

Not me but I had 62 at the end of October. I should be around 133 at this point and I'm willing to purchase the Pres Club (+25) after becoming Plat next week (was planning on joining anyway, this gives me a excuse). Where I end up will depend on my travel schedule in January.

While we all agree how great a job the IT people did on the Mileathon statement, it is now Dec 31st and the only totals we can see are the timeframe from Oct 1 - 31st. Now, I think I know where I'm at on my Mileathon totals but being only 4 weeks away from the end of this promo I'd like to be sure. Especially when alot of us are going to be cutting it close, up to and including the fact that alot of us are going to be making last minute purchases in order to jump up a level. That being said, I would think that having a more timely statement becomes imperative. Anyone agree?

fireworksboy Jan 2, 2007 1:37 pm

Bump. Just wondering if anyone else was concerned that our Mileathon statements online still only show activity between Oct 1st and 31st. There's only 4 weeks left and in order to hit the 200 credits mark it looks as though I may need to purchase a Pres Club membership. It'll work out to a 25k point bonus if I do so.....

Mary2e Jan 2, 2007 2:20 pm

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out where I am also. But I'm also concerned about shopping partners not posting on time.

I bought ALOT from Hickory Farms in mid-November as individual orders specifically for the mileathon promo and the purchases have not yet shown up.

My November shopping orders (3) have shown up on my Onepass account but I don't know if they got picked up on my Mileathon statement. I would guess they did because my October ones did - it would be nice to know for sure though.

Mary2e Jan 2, 2007 2:37 pm

I had a lot more in November than 3, heck I had 8 just from Hickory Farms :).

Many of them are in my OP account, but my concern is those that are not.

Hi fireworksboy, the November Mileathon statements should be available by the end of this week.

Thanks Scott. Just so we don't have ask this late in the month, is there anyone we can call to get an up to the minute total? I'm just thinking that at the last minute there may be a few of us needing a couple of points but unsure of how many. Being short even one point could cost 25K.

nemloc Jan 3, 2007 8:23 am

While I wait for the November statement, it seems that my October statement is only up to Oct 10th. ie: the link on my home page says click here for Oct 1-31, but following that link, the statement says you have 0 points as of Oct 10th. Is this normal for only 10 days to be in the statement?
Hoping this will get fixed with the November statement. I'll second the question on whether or not there's a number we can call to get updated Mileathon details.
Thanks.

I even received an e-mail alerting me that the updated statement is available.

njshawn Jan 11, 2007 6:51 am

I just realized I joined the Mileathon and that I was doing pretty good. My questions is I just booked a BF ticket to UK on 1/29 and returning on 2/10, will I get credit for this trip or just the trip out? Also I booked a ticket to Nassau a few weeks ago for the end of Feb will I get credit for this? I am so close to the nest level I would love to make it.

You have 64 Mileathon credits as of Thu., Nov. 30, 2006
You need 11 credits to reach your next Mileathon milestone

Mary2e Jan 11, 2007 7:44 am

According to the T&C of the mileathon promo, no, you will not get the credit.

The itinerary has to be flown during the mileathon period. You will get credit for flights booked before the period and flown during the period though. (at least I did)

fireworksboy Jan 11, 2007 2:11 pm

As of next Friday I should be at 205 credits. I'm bought and just need to fly my itinerary next week. I sure would like to know that all of those credits are counted. Wish there was a way to confirm. Anytime before Jan 31st would be fine with me, I just don't want to find out on Feb 15th that I was 2 points short of my last goal.

Mary2e Jan 24, 2007 10:02 am

It sure would be nice if shopping miles would post right about now :). Nevermind about updating the mileathon postings :D :D :D

I THINK I'm going to break 150 points and I need to see what's posting to make sure I will. I have a couple of flights in there that I can't tell if they'll post or for how many points. Half the ticket was Y the other half a lower class.

I would hate to miss the next level because I'm missing a few points.

I guess I'll shop for stuff I wouldn't mind returning if I don't need the points. :(

Mary2e - Are you a Pres Club member? Once you get to the 150 credit mark, you can basically score 25K miles if you join because Pres Club membership gives you an extra 25 credits putting you at the 175 total. Just a thought. I did it just to ensure that I'd hit the 200 mark. I'm probably around 215 or so - feel pretty safe even if a few credits don't post.

JNB71 Jan 24, 2007 8:47 pm

Home Depot does post miles for Gift Card purchases, at lease for last month.

JNB71 Jan 24, 2007 8:54 pm

Mileathon statement is now updated to end of Dec

Check your onepass account for credits as of end of Dec.

I thought of going that route, but I don't use it all that much to make it worthwhile.

I can shop my heart out though :)

I understand but you do know that at the 175 mark you have the option of a $1000 Miles for Merchandise card - that could help you "shop your heart out" just a little more. :)

Mary2e Jan 25, 2007 7:05 am

Unless I'm missing something, and please tell me if I am, the $1000 gift card is instead of the miles. I need the miles.
