COInsider:

What if you have a round trip booked as 2 separate one-ways? I haven't received the Mileathon thing yet, so I can't say I've seen the T&C. I get the gist that it may only apply on RT (or CT or OJ) itineraries? In a market where one-way fares are cheap (e.g. LAS, BWI as restricted or Full-Y fares), I have a trip in that time frame booked as two OW records, as I couldn't predict the return at the time I booked the outbound. I guess it'll also give me an extra 500 continental.com booking points, now that I think of it...

Thanks for your question, flyzabit. One way trips will receive 50% the applicable credit amount. The 50% credit for one ways applies to both first activity and repetition activity.

Mileathon Link

Based on another post, it was easy to determine that the link for the Mileathon is:
http://www.continental.com/web/en-US...omoCode=TB1M21. This is promo 51021.

Well, darn my hol(e)y socks... I'm not targeted, nor is my other half...
Now you will know at least...

Sweet...I am targeted for something...looks like I am going to fall 1200 miles short of Gold this year...may have to do a MR...but the extra miles will be nice.

Tell me, I just applied and got the Continental card this week...am I out of luck on the 40 points for the Mileathon? Wish I would have known...I would have waited 2 weeks.

R-Class & Mileathon

I did a search but came up empty.

Do tickets booked in "R" class qualify for Mileathon points?

Sorry LondonToLA, tickets booked in R class do not qualify for Mileathon points. All of our deeply discounted Economy, First and BusinessFirst class fare classes (i.e. R, Q, I, W, S, T, X and L) are excluded from this offer.

Thanks for the link. Now I realize why I haven't been targeted, I would have easily qualified for the top prize. I still think its not fair but thats what I get for being a loyal profitable customer.

Anybody else in the same boat I'm in. Please compare your flying patterns to the chart and see if you would have qualified and if so were you targeted.

Gggrrrrrrrr...........

I just got the slick marketing brochure in the mail. I go on-line to register for the promo and get this lovely message...

"! We could not process your request. Please see the message below and make revisions. Account AA123456 is not eligible for this offer (51021). "

Unreal. I just switched jobs and I have to book all my own extensive travel (meaning back to co.com for bookings) and was contemplating going back to CO and this is what I get. Unreal....

If you were sent the brochure and could not register, I'm sure a PM to CoInsider could help to remedy the situation. I'm not Miss Cleo, but I suspect an IT glitch could be the reason for a targeted OP member was unable to register for the promo. Calm down a little, crack open a beer, and see if CoInsider can help you - he seems more than willing to assist FT'ers resolve issues like the one you are having.

Actually looking at this promo the top rpizes aren't very good. I am not at home so I cannot tell you about the past top prizes, but believe me they were much more valuable then what is being offered with this one.

BTW...just got my Mileathon prize awarded to my account from the summer offer, I was awardeded 25k in miles, I guess that paid for my online auction purchase last week of CLE Browns tickets...YAY for me, I think....

COInsider was able to clear it up. Thanks COInsider!
