IAH-ONT using 752 - one day only?
Curious, checking some flights and found that on 8/27 there is am IAH-ONT flight using 752 equipment (Flt 1990), leaving IAH at 1335 hours. Checking the schedule I don’t see any other days where CO has this same flight and equipment operating the same route. Also, I don’t see a schedule where the 752 is departing ONT back to IAH on 8/27. I guess it will be flown empty to LAX? Wonder why a special flight this day?

19xx is not a number used for regularly scheduled flights. They may need a plane out to the west that day for charters or something, so perhaps they decide to sell tickets on it too.

It would be sweet if they started to fly B757's from ONT to IAH; I would certainly switch from LAX to ONT.

That aircraft will operate ONT-EWR on the afternoon of the 27th as flight 1908. Shows in the system as being booked to zero passengers, but does not show in the system as an 'available' flight between ONT and EWR. Who knows.....

You need to be a NY Yankee to be on CO1908. It's their charter. They're playing the Angels 8/25-27, and are flying back to New York later that day.
They usually use a 738 for 1908, but I guess for a long transcon, CO "upgrades" them to a 752. |

From what I've read here, managers sit up front. Players in the back. |
Wow. I guess if it's a frequent charter, they assign a flight number.
Here is the recent history of this flight: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/COA1908/history |

From what I've read here, managers sit up front. Players in the back. I have a friend who is in management on a professional sports team. For non-VIP config flights, first class is for coaches, management, owners, etc. Players typically sit in back, one or two to a row to account for their size. Sometimes the "stars" will get preferred treatment up front, though from what I understand the service and catering is spectacular on these flights, espescially the transcons. |

:D :D I dont know about these yummies, but I do know that the food is usually darn good and that they have to increase the number of booze carts, espescially so with baseball teams. |
