I agree, but I think EWR-BUR would be more of an instant hit.

No rumors that I have heard....JBLU does offer an overnight ONT-JFK....I'd rather fly CO thru IAH and get upgraded ;)

Yep, B6 has an ONT-JFK, tried it once, no need to do it again. My preference would be UA's PS flights.

I wrote to Larry two years ago and suggested BUR/EWR: it's a natural link for the entertainment industry. Plus, I was worried that JBLU would move into BUR which they subsequently did. Even a B737 offering service to EWR from BUR would, IMO, be a success.

I have flown JetBlue and I like it. I would prefer if CO took this route too.

I would say that BUR-JFK or LGA would be more of a natural link for the entertainment industry than BUR-EWR.

Good point. After a five hour flight, I don't think it makes much of a difference. One issue with service from BUR is that it's a two step process: first CO has to establish a presence, and then offer service. I think that ONT would be preferable--easier to start service from there.

BUR - LGA is not possible except on weekends, as it would violate LGA's perimeter limit. I believe this perimeter limit is 1500 miles with a few select grandfathered exceptions.
