Still waiting on the West Coast and I really need the card by next Thursday or I'm going to be waiting in some long check-in lines in Europe.

I am in SFO and I got my CO 2006 credentials yesterday (3/6). It was kind of a disappointment when it finally arrived (NW still gives luggage tags, but not CO I guess). And CO's was only 1 week late, which makes you wonder if they could have had it to us by 3/1 if they got their act together. It wasn't late because it was an extra special package of carefully crafted benefits put together for us, that's for sure!

Another day. Another disappointment. :(

Gold card arrived here in Houston yesterday. Still waiting for two silver cards. Not just the West Coast have to wait.

On the possitive note, got 4 drink coupons with the gold card. Can't wait to see how many with the silver.

I think Continental has been negligent in their obligations regarding this matter. Having earned Elite status and not yet having a card in my hand, I feel is somewhat like receiving a partial paycheck. I know if I'm flying Continental there's no problem, but what about flying on other SkyTeam carriers? I tried to call the OnePass service center this afternoon, but a recording advised me that my call would be answered "in about 11 minutes" and I didn't have time to wait that long. Why doesn't Continental address this issue on their website and say something to the effect of: "Due to (whatever reason), there may be a delay in the receipt of your Elite card. Continental has contacted our partner airlines and have requested that they extend SkyTeam Elite benefits to holders of our 2005 Elite cards through March 31"? Or maybe something like, "Don't worry, our partner airlines are able to determine that you are SkyTeam Elite by simply entering your OnePass number in their systems.... you need not present a card to receive benefits". Is it too much to ask that Continental keep us informed about something of such importance?

If it's still relevant, I got my Gold card on Monday, 3/6 (in DC).

I don't think so.

My husband got his last week -- and his onepass account starts with "H."
Still waiting for mine and my son's (same last names) -- one is a "C" and one is a "U."

I got my gold card yesterday along with the 4 drink coupons. The brochure says I can standby for an international upgrade within 2 hour window. Does this ever work?

Finally got my Silver card!

My special bonus items included getting free enrollment to the Speedy Avis Preferred Serive and free online trading with OnePass ShareBuilder.

And of course, the requisite sticky tags for inside my Samsonite Spinner. ;)

It's all in the recycling bin. One can hope that the plastic portion of the mailing (the card itself) will serve me better than my freebies. But as Silver, that's going to be tough to come by! I'll just have to work on getting higher tier this year...

Still waiting for Silver 2006 Elite card

I am currently 2005 silver elite and waiting for my 2006 silver elite. I just got a flt PHX-EWR and the gate agent was giving people trouble about the expired cards. A few people's boarding passes didn't say elite but after checking through the computer it turned out that they were. He wasted about 5 mins in total looking up all the people whose cards expired and didn't say on the b. pass. I am still waiting on my 2006 elite card. My last name starts with J and my one pass starts with SF. I am located in Tucson, AZ.

Does anyone have any updates on the situation? Has anyone actually called the one pass phone center in Houston?

-ZBJ

whiteknuckles Mar 10, 2006 8:02 pm

I called the OnePass center yesterday and was told I should receive my card by March 15. They sent me a confirmation email to present at partner check-in counters in the meantime. Whether or not the agents at these airlines will actually accept this email as proof of Elite status remains to be seen.... I'd rather have the card.

New barcodes on back of 2006 Elite Card

... has anyone noticed the bar code in addition to the mag stripe? It looks exactly like the bar code on boarding passes. Anyone want to take a guess at what it might be for?

jannis Mar 11, 2006 12:32 pm

I am still waiting for my Gold Card. :(

What about other European OnePass Members?

docr775 Mar 13, 2006 5:54 pm

I am still waiting for my PLAT card.

whiteknuckles Mar 13, 2006 6:32 pm

Finally got my silver card today. I hope these delays don't become habitual. :td:

kaboom36 Mar 13, 2006 9:22 pm

Maybe in the future you will be able to board with your card - and not need a BP.

Say you checkin online and do not print out a BP, then just use the card - saves paper in the Kiosk.

Got my card while in the middle of a trip, so it was waiting when I got home......so probably around March 11th or so..........

Is anyone else still waiting on their 2006 kit or am I the only one?

Thanks.

Still waiting, I had to go online to get the new elite line number

docr775 Apr 3, 2006 8:08 pm

Still waiting. Every time I call the OP line I am told to look for it next week. It has been the same for the last 4 weeks. BTW I took two trips to Asia on SQ and got some very good service in Business Class and got Premier Executive on UA. Really good service. It beats BF hands down.

Us too, still waiting, both Plat.

Cheers, SFO-RSW..

Anybody else still waiting besides me? I qualified for UA Premier Exec two weeks ago and my card arrived yesterday.

cigarman Apr 10, 2006 2:57 pm

I contacted CO And Mark Sullivan responded:
All of the Elite kits were mailed out no later than early March. They may call the OPSC to get a duplicate mailed to them. If you can provide some examples, I can check if, when, and where they were mailed. If some slipped through the cracks I would really like to know about it so I can find out why"

I got mine today, finally. It was postmarked on April 5th, the same day as the CO Select offer. I guess the pony express can only travel about 40 miles a day since it is about 213 miles from Houston to Corpus Christi. It is also takes approx. 4 hours by car since you have to slow down through all the small towns, 27 minutes to Houston Hobby via WN (735), and 35 minutes via COEX - ERJ to IAH. I think next year I will walk and pick it up. I will get it faster. I just wanted to have my card for next week when I connect in CDG. Last time I left my card at home I had a heck of a time convincing the AF lounge crews to let me in. According to them arriving in Paris on a BF ticket does not allow you to enter the lounge. They would also not take the boarding pass as proof of Elite status. I had to chase down the ever elusive concierge to get a temp pass for the day.
