B777 question
Seatguru shows that rows 17-19 D-F in coach have more legroom then other seats. Is it really the case? How much more are we talking about.
What would you rather choose, exit row 32 or one of the above rows?

I would trust Seatguru.com as it is based on actual experience of flyers and is very reliable.
Row 32 has many problems that come with an exit row - the window seats have the slide in front of them giving poor legroom directly in front (more if you "invade" the center seat space).
The Isle seats (C,J) are directly in front of the isle of the restrooms and during the flight many people tend to stand directly in front of you. I also heard a few stories of people of got the food and drink carts bang their knees when they go past the restrooms.
The center seats (D-F) are the only seats on the plane that have baby basinets.
Row 16 is way better that 32 in all ways.

Hi,
Row 16 is not an option unfortunatelly, but I am currently booked in exit row 32C on the way there and row 18 F on the return. I have an option of getting row 32 both ways.

We had seats 32 K & L on a Paris - IAH flight last year. Had no problems and greatly enjoyed the space.
My wife gets very claustrophobic and usually insists that we burn the points for BF or don't fly long distances. She has officially given her approval of these seats for future flights when the front cabin is not an option.

Row 16 does not have powerports, which is really a shame because that's really the only row that you can practically use the powerport since all the other rows are so cramped that trying to use a laptop is instant carpal tunnel syndrome.

Bulkhead seats are great. However if you are traveling alone be aware that bulkhead seats in the center section ie@ DEF, is where the bassinet is available. You could be sitting next to a screaming baby.
