Houston Terminal E
Went through there for the first time on Monday night... what a pallaver! first they dont' actually warn you that baggage reclaim is in Terminal C... you follow the signs dutifully and then find yourself in the car park!! intuition sugested that one carries on into Term C but no confirmation?!?!
but the really odd thing is that after you go through security on the way out, you go along a wide but height restricted corridor... my estimate is that it's only 6'6" tall. surely this has to be some sort of design error. i was following two very tall guys who had to walk stooped for 200ft, trailing luggage behind them. bizarre.
i can only hope that Term E is so new that they haven't yet got Term E baggage arrivals worked out yet. but if not..... !!!!

When terminal E is finished (Phase 2 in December 2003, and final phase in 2005) then Terminal C-North will be closed for renovation. After C-North reopens, then C-South will be renovated.
By the way - - that walkway (that currently dumps you out into the garage for a brief 50' walk) is 7'7" in height. Yes, it's low, but certainly not low enough to where you'd have to stoop to walk!

I was in terminal E last week. Its a weird effect walking between the terminals.
When you arrive in E everything is modern, bright and inviting. Shops are everywhere and information is easily found.
THEN when you walk to the other terminal its like a time warp. Notice how dark it is when you transition from one to the other. It's really bizzare.

I was in E last night as well. It was nice.
HOWEVER, I would have appreciated it if CO had NOT updated the inflight magazine and terminal maps to reflect a P-Club that isn't there yet!
Nothing like trudging all the way down there with the wife to discover blank walls
